Project activities and outputs
Dear friends! Project “Affirmation of the natural and cultural values in the border region for better visibility and access” is at its end.
The project implementation involved the following activities: Organization and implementation of two one-day press conferences; Construction of tourist site "Dinkut" - a place for sport, relax and entertainment in town of Gevgelija, Republic of Macedonia; Construction supervision of construction activities; Development and support of project web site - http://bansko-gevgelija.eu/ and project profile in Facebook – Tourist guide in Bansko – Gevgelija region; Research and analysis of natural and cultural heritage in both Municipalities Gevgelija and Bansko; Development and support of a free mobile app for the natural and cultural heritage in both Municipalities Gevgelija and Bansko – for Android and iOS (type Bansko – Gevgelija in AppStore and GooglePlay); Creating a photo album of the natural and cultural heritage in both Municipalities Gevgelija and Bansko; Publicity and information activities. Project is financed by Interreg-IPA Cross-Border Programme "Bulgaria – the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" with ref. No: CB006.1.21.183. It is an investment project with 24 months duration till 06.06.2019.
It is implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Gevgelija, fYRoM as a leader and Economic Development Agency Bansko as a project partner. The total approved budget is 215 312.40 €, of which 183 015.53 are IPA Funds, 6 843.06 are co-financing from the budget of the Republic of Bulgaria and 25 453.81 are co-financing from the budget of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
